Ha Long Heavy Lifting

Gleitbau-Salzburg awarded a contract regarding the heavy lifting of two towers for new a cable car being under construction currently at Ha Long Bay /Vietnam from the Vietnamese company SUN GROUP (Ha Long Sun LLC) at Da Nang City.
The distance between the two towers measures 1.200 m.

The realization of the project is carried out in 3 lifting operations, in detail as follows:

cable car tower 1 (total height approx. 185m) – 2 cross beams

cable car tower 2 (total height approx. 121m) – 1 cross beam

cable car tower 1 / cross beam 1: lifting height approx. 43m, weight approx. 650 to

cable car tower 1 / cross beam 2: lifting height approx. 83m, weight approx. 280 to

cable car tower 2 / cross beam 1: lifting height approx. 42m, weight approx. 200 to
