High-Rise Building Vienna Twin Tower
2 cores slipformed in alternating cycle concrete B500
The Twin Tower is a 150 m high rise project located in the southern part of Vienna. It includes 5 storeys underground, as well as 36 storeys above ground. The slipform costructed cores are independent of each other and have a total area of approxiamately 900 m of formwork. The concrete elements were completed using a concrete distributor which was attached to the formwork elevated by the Gleitbau team. The timing of the slipforming proceeded alternately, by which in Core A, 5 storeys were completed and in the following week 5 storeys from Core B were completed. During the slipforming intervals, the ceilings were placed in the cores using the concrete distributor attached to the formwork.
