High-Rise Building IZD - Tower

The IZD Tower is a 45 storey high rise project in the middle of Vienna.

Due to the tight schedule, it was decided to use slipforming for the core of the high rise. The core was devided into two sections, whereby in each case after completion of one slipform step (4-5 storeys), the floor slabs were subsequently added. The concrete works were achieved using a 32 m concrete placing boom by the elevating formwork.
